We All Have A Mountain To Climb

What makes me happy? OUTSIDE makes me happy. Being in the outdoors is my ever-so-happy place. It’s where I go when I need to be alone, and not-so-alone at the same time. Forest bathing, as some call it. Only I prefer a big ole wilderness plunge! Taking that plunge can be quite intimidating, especially for “fluffy” folks like me. It’s easy to dismiss our dreams because we don’t fit into what has long been considered the norm for outdoor adventurers. I’m here to debunk the idea that you have to be a certain size, or age, to accomplish hard things. I believe the outdoors has something to offer each of us. I also believe we can start right where we are, one step at a time, one mountain at a time.
